About Stitch and Style
Our Story
Stitch and Style was first established in 2013. Previously it was known as M&A Alteration Services and Clothing Design.
We are a small team with years of experience. We specialise in custom made dresses and wedding dresses alterations. We also provide smaller alteration services such as shortening trousers or changing a zip. We constantly update our skills and follow the latest fashion trends. You can expect high quality work from our skilled and experienced team of specialists.
Where are we
About our shop
Our shop is located in Glanmire, Cork. You can always walk in with minor alterations.
We advise you to make an appointment for more complex alterations. You need an appointment if you would like a made to measure outfit or if you need wedding dress alterations.
You can bring with you your friends and family to an appointment. We have a modern spacious fitting room where you can try on your outfit feeling comfortable.

From the beginning
A few words from Marzanna
I spent 6 years in college learning everything about dressmaking, pattern making, body shapes, styling and polishing my sewing skills. I loved it. Since I was twelve, I knew that I would be a dressmaker.
The creation process, drawing new design, making the pattern, cutting, sewing and then the joy of looking at the perfectly fitted clothing. It is such a great feeling.
I was born in Poland. In 2007 I came to Ireland taking my three children with me. I was desperate; me and my husband were looking for a better life for our family. I chose Ireland because very deep in my heart I always wanted to live here. Emigration is not easy, and we worked hard to make it happen. I am very proud of my husband and my children. Now Ireland is our new home.
In 2013 in a deep recession me and my business partner were ready to start M&A Clothing Design and Alteration Services. In 2016 our paths separated, and I became the main person in charge of M&A.
I am a dressmaker with over 20 years of experience. I have been running a successful business for 7 years. We are known for quality service and attention to detail. We help our customers to stand out from the crowd and to find their own style based on our expertise, which we gained with years of practice.

Agnes Gawlowska
Agnes can talk about her dog for many hours. It is Jack Russel called Leszek. Agnes is a specialist in menswear alterations and very complicated projects.
