First Steps in Fashion – Children’s sewing machine workshop

Learn, design and get sewing – this 2-week course teaches children the skills they need to use a sewing machine for their own creations. Over two Saturday afternoons, in a small group, we’ll cover it all: sketching designs, working with different fabrics, understanding patterns and how to use them. And we’ll use these new skills to bring their designs to life.

This course is for children between 10 and 14 who are interested in design and sewing. Lessons take place in our studio – in this small group workshop (max 5) each child gets the attention they need to understand, design, and create a unique appliqué t-shirt and a cuddly toy from scratch.

We provide sewing machines, fabrics and all sewing tools required.

The duration of the course is 2 Saturdays – 2.5 hours classes from 2:30 PM to 5 PM.

The course price is €135.
